Donald Joseph Qualls, better known as DJ Qualls is an American actor, producer and fashion model. After achieving fame through his performances in Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow he has appeared in more than 20 feature movies like The Core. Apart from his appearances in Road Trip, Qualls has played in 22 different TV series such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls, who was diagnosed at 14 years old with Hodgkin lymphoma, is an extremely strong fighter. Following two years of treatment the cancer was cured. The treatment, however, in such a short time caused a significant impact on his body, and hindered the development of his body. At the time he started to make decisions, financial security seemed like his ultimate ambition. He'd experienced poverty during his childhood. I've lived so frugally over the years that I need to have that financial security or the world feels out of control for me he stated in an interview. He thinks back to his youth and feels the desire to act against bullies. Cruelty breaks my heart DJ claims. The best role for DJ is that of a real-life father. He admits that Directors do not cast DJ in such role. It's great to be one day a parent himself, when the time comes when he can devote much less time working and devote it to his children.
