The match ended in defeat, however she was also the first to get eliminated. In an FCW TV episode, she wrestled as part of a team along together with Naomi Knight to defeat the Leah West & Byron Sexton pair. In the first week of 2012, Arian along with her tag team partner Naomi made their WrestleMania debut on its XXVIII edition. Arian performed on the TLC (Tables chairs and Ladders episode) towards the end of the year. On the episode in February of 2013 of SmackDown, she played her first match. The following months, she started appearing in SmackDown Main event events and WWE other shows. In September 2013, she joined Total Divas through the 7-on-7 elimination tag-team match against True Divas team. Mendes won the match. She won the Divas Champion in February's Elimination Chamber in which she beat AJ Lee. She fought Lee once more in the same episode, but was unable to defend her title. Ariana was then able to take her revenge on Lee at her first match at the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational in which Lee took home. Summer Rae, Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes accompanied Ariana to compete in a handicap of 6-1 with Nikki Bella. They only showed up to fight Nikki Bella. In the Battleground's pre-show she was given a chance to take on Naomi. Ariana managed to beat Naomi in the battle. In the end, this caused their competition. Over the course of summer, they competed at handicapped match singles and tag teams. She competed in various matches against other wrestlers including Paige Bella twins Alicia Fox and Asuka. After a period of inactivity of a period of 2 months WWE has confirmed that Ariana had been let go of her contract. Arina has joined WWE NXT after her resignation from WWE. She appeared on a couple of shows in NXT as well as Bayley and NXT's NXT Women's Championship.
